For this month’s newsletter we would like to introduce you to our Dr. Chris.
Dr. Chris Chondrogiannis (aka Dr. Chris) has been practicing dentistry for over fifteen years and has been a part of the Farber Center for more than ten years. He is a superb periodontist who has consistently received rave reviews from his patients.
In 1997, Dr. Chris Chondrogiannis graduated from New York University, College of Dentistry. At NYU, he received his degree for Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
After college, Dr. Chris began his residency at Manhattan Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center as Chief Resident of Dental Services. He then went on to complete a post graduate residency in Periodontics.
Dr. Chris has not only helped many patients inside the office, but has helped many people outside of the office in his volunteer efforts.
- Dr. Chris performed many services, helping many, following the events on September 11, 2001. For this, he was honored by the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association.
- In 2003, Dr. Chris received New Dentist Leadership Award by the New York State Dental Association.

Dr. Chris has worked at the Manhattan Medical Center, the New York Academy of Dentistry Ethics, as a Course Instructor and he is a chairperson on the New York State Dental Association Council, representing New York County Dental Society.
Dr. Chris now practices at two locations, changing the smiles of many. He works at the Farber Center for Periodontics and Dental Implants in Medford, Long Island and on Madison Avenue at Madison Avenue Periodontics in New York City.
Dr. Chris is not only an excellent periodontist, but a wonderful father and husband. He is married to his wife Linda, and they share two beautiful children, James and Amelia.
