Just a few weeks ago I received some information I would like to share with you that is very important for you and your practice.
Recently, an AED Bill was signed into law requiring all Dental practices in New York to have an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in their office. Furthermore, all dentists in New York are required to be trained to use this device.
Fortunately, the NYSDA, has discounted an AED purchasing program for all professionals to make sure we all meet the state’s standard requirements.
In addition, SCDS, has coordinated two dates, October 19th and 28th, for CPR and AED training. (For more information, log on to www.suffolkdental.org.)
